Aile Mällo is the teacher of the Orava Culture House's seniors' folk dance group Lustakad (since 2006) and the Orava Culture House's women's group (since 2004). Ten years ago, Aile invited some grandfathers to the group, and since then, Orava has had a seniors' (grandmothers-and-grandfathers) dance group. Every year, the group participates in Orava Midsummer celebrations, the Christmas party for the elderly, and the county and South Estonian seniors' folk dance festivals. Since there are grandmothers in the group who are over eighty years old, instructing is not easy. Aile inspires and motivates the grandmothers to come out of their homes and continue dancing. The trips organized by Aile are well-planned, and refreshments are always provided for the dancers.
Aile Mällo has also completed folk dance instructor studies at the Estonian Folk Culture Centre. Under her guidance, the women's folk dance group has participated in the Women's Dance Festival three times. Additionally, Aile has taken it upon herself to instruct the alumni folk dance group at the recent Orava school reunions.
