On July 26, the Orava open-air stage hosted a local community day, during which both locals and visitors enjoyed a diverse cultural program, creative workshops, and athletic challenges.

The event kicked off with a performance by JJ-Street dance school's Võru dancers and the dual playpack show by local youth. The cultural program continued with the Hanikas village theater's performance of „Camping“. At the same time, children had fun with games and activities led by Anneli and Tiit Lõhmus. Knowledge was put to the test with a quiz about „25 years ago“ prepared by Ene Säinast.

The activity tent featured handicraft workshops: glass art led by Geenart Nagel and bookmark crafting with Kerly Kerge. Children delighted in bouncing on the big trampoline all evening, while older youth and adults tested their skills in swing-kiiking. Swinging over the bar was not as easy as it initially seemed.

In the food tent, culinary delights were offered by MTÜ Orava Jahtkond, Mahlaveski café, and a youth café. The evening culminated in dancing to the music of the Andresed band. The evening was hosted by Andres Visnapuu, with Tiit Lõhmus as the sound technician.

The event was made possible thanks to many volunteers, participants, and supporters: Võru Municipality, MTÜ Orava Kultuur, and the Võru Parish Cultural and Youth Work Center. Thanks to everyone involved!
