On the last day of summer, August 31, a fun children's day called "Summer's end fun is still going on!" was held at the Lasva community center and its surroundings.

Early in the morning, many cheerful children arrived at the community center with their families. The children participated in various workshops, trying out crafting and fun activities at the Pisila activity tables. The trampolines and the fun bubble stations were a great hit. The more adventurous ones also got to blow bubbles themselves.

All four scheduled children's shows filled the hall, and the little theater fans watched and often discussed what was happening on stage.

The stage featured:

  • Theater bus with the play "Mia's Secret", starring Marko Mäesaar, Katrin Kalma, and Andres Vago;
  • The children's theater Miku-Manni with the plays "Golden Value" and "From Play to Real", starring Laura Lind and Janek Joost.
  • "How the King Rushed to the Moon" - performed by the Park Fairy employees of Lasva Kindergarten.

The youth workers of Võru Municipality's Culture and Youth Center, together with young people, created a pleasant café atmosphere in front of the community center. Of course, the pancakes that Lasva Craft Society offered were not missing.

The greatest value of the children's day was that families got to spend a nice time together and children got to enjoy themselves happily once more before the start of the school and kindergarten year.

The weather favored the event so well that it only started pouring rain when the event was just about to end.
