The project targeted 16-19 year old youth. The youth exchange program was made possible thanks to EANK, the Estonian partner in this project. Three countries were involved in the project: Italy, Hungary, and Estonia.

The theme of the youth exchange was T.A.L.K. (“Tolerance, Acceptance, Listening, Knowledge”) focusing on tolerance, acceptance, listening, and awareness. During the five days in Sicily, the program delved into conflict management research, promoting intercultural communication and mutual understanding. Skills were developed to actively listen to partners and provide constructive feedback. Interesting workshops were held where youth learned collectively as well as in smaller groups. Additionally, each country's youth also conducted one workshop.

For the Vastseliina youth, the most memorable moments of the project were the joint activities after the programmatic activities. On the first night, each country presented their country, culture, and food. Our youth offered herring sandwiches, quark board, and quark bars to other participants. The most delicious dishes, however, turned out to be the local Sicilian foods.

Active and enjoyable days, as well as evening joint activities, made the youth exchange participants feel like one big family, making it very difficult for most to return home. Communication among many youths on social media continued both on the way home and afterwards. Thanks to the project, the youth gained new knowledge, skills, experiences, and many new contacts.
