The municipal summer games of Estonian municipalities took place from August 16th to 17th in Kambja and Tartu County, with Võru Municipality also being represented in several sports.

In the 50th edition of the summer games, athletes from Võru Municipality participated in athletics, women's volleyball, women's beach volleyball, and petanque.

Highlights of Võru Municipality at the summer games:

  • Kristen Robin Mast won the high jump;
  • Rolf Robert Peebo took first place in men's shot put and was second in discus throw;

Our teams had intense battles in ball games. The women's volleyball team reached tenth place, while the beach volleyball duo Marleen Ojasoo and Annabel Päästel reached fifth place. The municipality's petanque team finished in 12th place.

Although the participation of athletes could have been even more active, all representatives of Võru Municipality did their best. We commend the excellent results and wish all our athletes good luck!
