In September, practical workshops "The ABC of Healthy Well-being - How Does Food Support Us?" were held in the community centers of Lasva and Vastseliina as part of the project "Organic and Cozy," guided by Well-being Designer Egle Kõva.

Participants listened and discussed topics such as the foundation of well-being, organic and cozy, vegan and plant-based, and more. During the workshops, they learned simple and reliable techniques on how to ferment vegetables and which herbs and spices to use for this purpose. Local organic vegetables were put into jars together to ferment. Each participant could take their colorful jar of fermented goods home.

The workshops were held as part of the project "Organic and Cozy," supported by the Võrumaa Development Center and co-financed by the European Union. As part of the same project, Rea Sepping from the NGO Eikellegimaa conducted two two-hour lectures in July for the youth camp of Võru municipality on the topics of "Organic Food and Sustainable Agriculture."
